Garmin GPS Forerunner 305 Review
I’ve been using the Forerunner 305 for 6 months and am very happy with it. The combination of GPS and heart rate monitor is very practical for avid runners. The GPS reception quality (apparently a problem with the 205) is generally very good. This was very important to me since I run a lot in the woods.
The 305 offers many useful functions such as the ‘virtual partner’ feature which allows you to compete with virtual opponents.
The 4 display fields can be freely configured, for example heart rate, average speed, time, distance.
The included software is not that great so overall I would only give it 4 stars.
With the web software you can export the recorded path to Google Earth and then see the laps you completed.
